FABELIST is a community.

We celebrate the process of creation, rather than simply the finished commercial product and, aim to expose the voices and personalities behind each work.

We reassure artists that the process of their creativity is of intrinsic worth and, give them a safe, supportive environment in which to explore their ideas.

This is facilitated by the core of the project- our online studio. Since Fabelisters range from energetic new talent to established well-known practitioners, artists to actors, both young and old, our studio runs on a unique mentoring scheme: artists responding to each other and forming collaborations between creative disciplines.

In The Studio you can trace the ideas and conversations behind our Fabelisters’ responses to each four- month project.

Through this we emphasize the importance of viewing the creative process in action- before the showcasing of the finished article in our four monthly journal and exhibitions.

Likewise, all our events and charitable projects aim to facilitate the interactions between Fabelisters from different disciplinary backgrounds and, to share this approach with the wider public.

We believe that every individual has a story and, we aim for those stories to be told.
